The damage a Coca Cola habit can bring to teeth

Many root fillings, crowns and veneers were needed to sort out this 27 year old, who had a Coca Cola habit as a teenager.

Once the diet was stabilised to ensure long term stability only then did we progress to definitive treatment. Its all very well making teeth look good, but it can be even more important to ensure long term stability.

We think not, sometimes people simply want to be able to eat again with confidence after years of having teeth which caused them problems.

This patient was exceedingly nervous and was very strict on having as few extractions as possible. Cost was a real issue for him as well so we provided some good quality but basic dentistry to give his mouth some function once more.

He was delighted with the end result. Obviously had aesthetics been more of a concern for him we could have improved the appearance much more.
